How do I purchase a Newcastle Jets Membership?

There are three easy ways to purchase a Jets Membership:

  • ONLINE - choose packages from the menu above and follow the prompts
  • PHONE - call Member Services on (02) 4088 8004
  • IN PERSON - visit our new office on Wirra Crescent, WARATAH WEST at the University of Newcastle, through the gates 50m past Ray Watt Oval when entering from University Drive.

Do I get to keep my same seat as I had last season?

Members wishing to retain their current seat from last season will be required to renew their Membership by 5pm on 31 July 2017. Members that have not renewed their Membership prior to that date will lose their seats and they will be made available for other renewing and new Members.

If I am purchasing a reserved seating Membership, can I choose where I would like to sit?

Yes, by purchasing your Membership online via your MyJETS Account you can select where you would like to sit via the Interactive Seating Map. If the seat/s that you would like to purchase are unavailable, please fill out a seating request form (via the Member zone tab). Once the same seat renewal deadline has passed, those who filled out the seating request form will be allocated seats.

I would like to change my reserved seating location when I renew my Membership. When can I do this?

Members can select new seats at the time of renewing their Membership via the Interactive Seat Map in your MyJETS Account. If the seat/s that you would like to purchase are unavailable, please fill out a seating request/change form (via the Member zone tab). Once the same seat renewal deadline has passed, those who filled out the seating request form will be allocated seats.

Please note that seating requests/changes will only be accepted via filling out the online form under the ‘Member Zone’ tab or filling out your renewal forms that were issued in your renewal pack and returned to Membership Services.

I have friends who are already reserved seating Members. Can I sit with them?

How does Automatic Renewal work?

Automatic Renewal will take the inconvenience out of renewing your Membership by doing it for you. The Jets will continue to renew your Membership each year until such time as you choose to opt out (within the given dates set by the Club). Members will automatically be added to the Annual or Monthly perpetual payment plan when they renew or join if paying by VISA or MasterCard.

Can I cancel my Membership for a refund?

If you wish to cancel your Membership, please contact Jets Membership Services on (02) 4088 8004 or email membership@newcastlejets.com.au. Memberships are not refundable. Members paying on the 9 Month Payment Plan must pay their Membership in full once the plan has commenced.

What age is classified as a child / junior?

A junior must be under the age of 16 as of 1 January 2018. Once juniors turn 17 they will be transferred to a Concession Membership for as long as they are a full time student.

My child is under 5 years. Do I have to buy them a Membership?

Children under five years of age are not required to have a reserved seating or general admission Membership purchased for them, however they must not occupy a seat and will need to sit on the lap of a parent or guardian. If the child requires a seat, a Membership needs to be purchased for them.

Who is eligible for the Concession price?

Concession status applies to Pensioners holding a Centrelink Card and Full Time Students aged 16 years (at 01/01/18) and over. Appropriate Proof of Concession must be available for display on ground entry. Concession prices are not available to seniors or unemployed.

Do I need to provide proof of my Concession?

When you become a Member of Newcastle Jets, you will be asked to provide your Concession Card type, card number and expiry date.  You may also be asked to provide your Concession Card type at the entry gates.

When do I receive my Membership Card and Member Kit?

The arrival of your Membership Card will depend on when you purchase it. However the first delivery date for Membership Card is September 2017. This will include redemption vouchers for your Member Kit from Everything Football. Collection details will be advised in the letter you will receive with your Membership Card.

Can I transfer my Membership to another person?

Your Newcastle Jets Membership is transferrable in the event you are out of town and can’t make a specific match. In this instance you are able to offer your Membership to a friend, family Member, work colleague or neighbour for example.

Please note: adults are not permitted to use a child or concession Membership card and this will be monitored at the entry gate. An upgrade fee can be paid at the Membership box office on match day.

The following Membership Cards can be upgraded on a match-by-match basis at the Newcastle Jets Membership Service Office at Hunter Stadium.

Where do I go if I have a concern on match day?

The Newcastle Jets Members Service Office is located at the Northern end of the Western Entrance of McDonald Jones Stadium and is staffed 90 minutes prior to the start of the match and will close shortly after kick-off.

What do I do if I leave my Membership card at home on match day?

You can print a print-at-home ticket from your MyJETS Account.

Alternatively, you will need to queue at the Membership Services Office located at the northern end of the main entrance to McDonald Jones Stadium with photo identification and request a replacement ticket. Your Membership card/s will remain valid for all the other matches throughout the season.

I've lost my Membership card, what do I do?

To report a lost or stolen card, please contact Newcastle Jets Membership Services on (02) 4088 8004. A replacement card will be issued (subject to a replacement fee of $5 per card).

Are Members permitted to sit anywhere at the Stadium?

No, your Newcastle Jets Membership card only gives you access to be seated in the dedicated Members area you purchased in to. Members wishing to sit outside of this area are required to purchase a match ticket or upgrade from Ticketmaster.

Where is the Squadron Membership?

The Squadron have withdrawn from Active Support on game days however they remain great supporters of the Jets. If you previously held a Squadron Membership you will see a General Admission Membership reserved in your MyJETS Account and on your renewal form.

As a Newcastle Jets Member, what entitlements do I have to access finals tickets?

If the Newcastle Jets qualify to participate in a semi-final or grand final match and we are the designated ‘home’ team then all Jets Members will be provided with a priority access period to buy tickets to these matches. The details of the priority access period, including dates, times and requirements will be communicated to all Members via email in the lead up to this period.

How do I update my personal details?

You are able to update your personal details 24/7 via your MyJETS Account Manager.

Can I use my Membership for away games?

No, Jets Memberships only entitle Members to access their own home games.  The only exception to this is the reciprocal rights agreement with Central Coast Mariners whereby Jets Members will receive free entry in to a general admission area at Central Coast Stadium for the Mariners v Jets games during the standard season.
